1. Spend some time reading this week!
A home reading email was sent to all families last week outlining our home reading site Je Lis as well as additional French resources.
Students should be spending a minimum of 10 minutes each evening interacting with French texts/media.
Find a time that it can easily be built into home routines and stick with it.
Small amounts of time per day equate to huge gains in vocabulary, pronunciation and comprehension.

ebookids.com is a great site that offers a variety of French stories as well as audio books.
Setting aside 10-15 minutes for French reading will have a huge impact on French language development.
2. Basketball ID camps are underway.
This is for anyone who would like to play on the competitive Tier 1 or Tier 2 teams.
Girls: Monday (today) and Thursday - 3:45-5:30
Boys: Wednesday and Friday - 3:45 - 5:30.
Atomic Basketball (noon hour practices and in-school tournaments) will begin in January.
