Hello! Happy Thursday!
In Français, we have started our "le hockey" unit with a look at hockey legend Maurice Richard. Earlier this week we started our learning by watching a short Vraiment Top video about him (ask me about the Kahoot we played afterwards... So.Much.Yelling. Ha!) and today in class we listened to the story, Connais-tu Maurice Richard? to learn even more about "Le Rocket."
Please ask me about my favourite Maurice Richard facts... he had quite the incredible hockey career!
We will continue our hockey-themed vocabulary and book work over the next few classes in preparation of our first whole-class novel study, which as you may have guessed, also has a bit of a hockey theme.

2. Math - Tomorrow (Friday) we'll be doing a short Math check-in on multiples. Students will be asked to find multiples of a number, find the ppcm (lcm) of a set of numbers and find the answer to a short work problem. We have been working on this concept for the past week in class and are ready to show our learning. No additional preparation is required, but counting aloud by different numbers is always a fun car-ride activity! :)
