1. It's 'I Love to Read' month, so be sure to read, read, read!
2. Devinez-vous par mon Haiku - Le chandail de hockey - is now OVERDUE
Project outline is posted in Teams.
Presentations started in class today and will continue this week.
3. Math - We have been working on finding the facteurs of numbers in class the last 2 weeks. Students have had two worksheets to complete during this time. Both sheets, if not yet completed, are due Tuesday. Please check in with me to see if I have completed this task.
UPDATE: The majority of students did not finish the above-mentioned sheets in time for today's lesson, thus were not able to correct their sheets to track their progress.
No additional class time will be given for this task. Students are strongly encouraged to complete both sheets to ensure understanding and are welcome to come in over the noon hour this week to correct their work.
4. Many students are still having difficulty with their multiplication tables. Being confident with foundational multiplication facts is essential to successfully participate in upcoming concepts.
Please check in with me: How am I feeling with my multiplication facts?
Spending a short time each evening reviewing will have a big impact. Stacking this task before/after daily reading will ensure it doesn't get forgotten.
How can I practice at home? Flash cards (the triangle ones are the best, in Mme's opinion), multiplication war card game, online games, etc. The best type of practice in the kind you'll do consistently.
5. CFOO #5 - Créativité - le mardi 27 février
Outline is posted in Teams. All visual supports, if using, must be submitted in Teams no later than 9:00am on the day of presentations.
